Audi Sport Team WRT quick in first California 8H sessions

A good start of the California 8 Hours weekend for Audi Sport Team WRT, leading the way in the first official practice.

The #10 Audi R8 LMS Evo of Christopher Haase, Dries Vanthoor and Frederic Vervisch laid down a 1:23.971 lap time in the 90-minute session, outpacing the #34 Walkenhorst BMW M6 GT3 by 0.271 seconds. 

The Audi’s time was quickest of the weekend, besting Kelvin van der Linde’s pace-setting 1:23.982 set in the third and final test session on Thursday morning.

In Pre-Qualifying the Audi R8 LMS #10 of Audi Sport Team WRT showed its pace again by setting a lap time within the Top 10
